Song of the day!

Happy end of the week, friends! And what a week it has been. My English teacher didn't show up for her own class, with no word on where or what she's up to. That's a win for me, but it is awfully strange. 

I've been on an artsy kick this week, and I've been pumping out some great works. I'll upload them all at once once I run into artist block ;)

Friday nights are the best - you can make plans and sleep in the next day and not have to worry about last minute homework. 

So what are your plans? If I had my way I'd make the weekend weather warm and summer-y so I could go swimming with my sweetie <3

 I'm gonna cut it short today, but I'll post more when the new week starts back up.

Song of the day!

Hey there friends. How's the weather been treatin' ya? If you live in Ohio, you know how insane it's been this week. 7 Inches and a quarter inch of ice was enough to shut my university down today. Call it luck, because from what I've heard, they very very rarely do that here on campus. Whatever, at least I got a day to sleep in.

Assignments have me down in the dumps lately. I sleep way too much than I should, and I eat like a typical college kid would - when and if I feel hungry, whenever that is. It's quite a shift from my summer routine - lots of working out, picky eating, and a feeling of more upbeat, positive days. I guess I'm a little overwhelmed.

I guess something positive I still do here is that I like to doodle. A lot. Some of these ideas become pretty decent artworks on my part. I think that I'll be making some good upcoming anthro art. I'll post it here first thing when I do. 

I have some questions to ask my fellow readers - I love feedback, and I want your opinion!

Why am I here?

One of my recent drawings.

I'm glad you stumbled upon this page. I think that if you have an open mind and enjoy the simple things in life, you'll like it here. I plan to use this blog to post little snippets from my daily life like drawings, quotes, etc. I also plan to use it to show my artwork to the world, and possibly post a movie review or two. 

So what does "Twitterpated" mean?

-In case you don't know, that term was first used in Bambi by the old owl. It simply means "in love" or "infatuated". I am at a stage in my life where I recently went from a very negative point to an optimistic and happy point thanks to someone special. There have been lots of changes going on, and most of them have been positive thanks to him. I probably will post more about this in later entries.

Why is my URL "pawprintprincess"?

-I adore animals. My goal is to adopt a shelter dog this summer and raise it as a wonderful companion. I enjoy volunteering at the local humane society, and I donate to WWF. Basically, I feel a powerfully strong connection to animals in this world, and I would like to give them as much opportunity at happiness as possible. I want to be their "Paw Print Princess" they look up to. A lot of my content will center around animals.
